Our nursery is the perfect place to begin your child’s journey. We offer settling in sessions for you and your baby to feel safe and happy in their new environment. This is the start of a long-standing relationship with your family, ensuring secure bonds between your child and nursery team We offer a comforting environment with a variety of resources for our babies to explore, develop and discover through play Sensory play is promoted, helping them to make sense of the world by connecting what they see, hear, smell, touch and feel Our babies enjoy wide variety of books and stories, music, and rhymes introducing early literacy and communication skills.

Our toddlers thrive as they become more independent and curious We offer a range of natural resources and provide plenty of messy play opportunities to encourage learning through creativity We have a wide range of age-appropriate books and resources to encourage communication and develop language and literacy skills We encourage independence and free thinking by allowing the children to choose and lead activities carefully guided by our practitioners We promote physical creativity through music and movement which is key in helping to develop children’s motor skills We continue to promote early wellbeing awareness and relaxation techniques to help our children understand their thoughts and feelings.

Our preschool room supports ‘school readiness’ through a wide range of quality resources and equipment that promotes all areas of the EYFS. We embed maths and literacy into everyday routines providing opportunities for letter and number recognition. We give encouragement and praise to our children inspiring them to investigate and be curious of the world around them. We promote an inclusive environment where we take part in a variety of cultural and international celebrations.

In our fabulous outdoor garden spaces our children can wander, climb, splash, and run, which is essential for healthy development and wellbeing. We allow children to understand and take risks which helps to build their confidence, independence, and eagerness to learn. Our children are introduced to important life skills and encouraged to try new things through play and exploration, with activities such as role play, water play and investigative play Our children are active participants in the local community regularly going to on walks and visiting the library and local shops.

We serve delicious home cooked meals inspired by a variety of different cultures. As a result, our children get to discover an exciting range of tastes, smells and textures. By keeping our menus interesting we aim to teach our children that trying new food is exciting, not scary, and that healthy ingredients can be transformed into something amazing! Our menus rotate on a four-week basis, to ensure your child can enjoy a wide range of high-quality food. They are also designed for inclusion, and we offer options to support dietary/allergy requirements and cultural preferences.

Children who bring packed lunches are encouraged to follow our healthy eating policy.

We understand that this topic can cause significant anxiety for parents and carers. We dedicate a considerable amount of time to getting to know you and your child’s individual routine by asking questions and building a rapport. We strive to maintain that routine as closely as possible while at nursery. However, it’s not uncommon for babies to develop their own routines in a different environment, which may differ slightly from what they are accustomed to at home. Your child will receive bottles and be offered nap times that align with the schedule you’ve established. While some babies may have no routine, others adhere to a very strict one. We are committed to working with you to ensure both you and your child feel content and comfortable.

Peaceful and tranquil rest is essential for babies and young children. Each child has their own bed linens, which are regularly washed on-site. We implement strict and documented checking procedures to ensure your child’s constant safety and care, in line with our safer sleep policy. We always strive to follow your child’s preferred sleep patterns and routines.

Older children are also offered sleeps and if they need to nap, they can do so on our sleep mats, whenever they need to.

We pride ourselves on the partnerships we build with our parents and carers. We see the child’s learning journey through our nursery as a time of sharing experiences and information between the nursery staff and parents.

We enjoy a range of activities including parents’ weeks/meetings and opportunities for you to come into nursery e.g bake sales, afternoon tea, fairs. We have found that these give us the opportunity to talk and get to know each other, this then helps us to ensure each child is cared for individually.
